What's the Quality of My Drinking Water?
In a given day, how much time to do you spend thinking about the water you drink?
Even if you’re one who never thinks about it, it’s highly likely that you know someone who does. It’s become a popular subject to debate as people openly share about their preference – be it sourced at the spring or reverse osmosis water.
There are primarily three distinct camps of people:
- Those who think water is water and never think about it
- Those who avoid chlorinated water and drink only bottled water and think anything bottled is better
- Those who read labels to look at the source of the bottled water, use pH test strips and seek out alkaline water.
Although we may be overly simplifying the different categories people fall into when it comes to thinking about their drinking water quality you can probably identify with one of the three mentioned groups.
Over half of Americans say they’re worried about the quality of their drinking water
A study done last year by Chapman University found that 61% of Americans were very afraid of pollution in their drinking water, ranking in the top three fears, along with government corruption and pollution of our oceans, rivers and lakes. You can find out more about the survey here.
If you happen to be one who does think about the quality of your drinking water, even just a little, then you’ll want to consider having a reverse osmosis drinking water system installed for your home. Systems like this remove impurities and are more affordable than buying bottled water.
Instead of paying for water delivery or lugging cases of bottled water from the store every week or so, wouldn’t it be nice to know you have clean, high-quality drinking water whenever you want it? Your own drinking water system is not only convenient it will pay for itself over time.
